MAHESHKUMAR M. NIRMAL –M.D. - B.E. (MECH.), M.B.A.

Is a Techno-crate with Masters in Management & Graduation in Engineering with more than 28 years of experience in the design of static equipment, complex piping systems, Stress analysis, Storage equipment and FEM etc.

He has designed and developed large dia Petroleum Storage Tanks (Cone Roof and Floating Roof ), Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Chimneys, Gas Holder, Silos, Bunkers, Hoppers, Piping Systems, also did Stress Analysis, Structural Analysis etc.

He has executed LPG & Sulphur Recover Piping project right from conceptual design, equipment location, piping layout to Bill of Material for Piping & equipment viz. Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Compressors, Cooling Towers, Radiators, Reaction Vessels. It involved designing of equipment, routing of piping, stress analysis, Bill of Material. There were about 900 Lines.

Similarly he had done designing & detailing of Sulphuric Acid Plant based on Lurgi Technology.

He has also designed double wall Ammonia storage tank for SPIC Tuticerin, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizer and Fact Engineering Works for their Ammonia system. He has also designed Ethylene, propylene, Butadiene and VSL double wall tanks.

Has designed, routed a Complex Piping Plan with Space constrain. Have done 100 Power Plant Piping from P & ID to BOM Stage which includes Equipment Location, Pipe rack location Equipment mounting civil detail, pipe rack mounting Civil detail, Structural Member sizing for pipe rack, monorail requirement its mounting detail, study piping, routing, piping G.A. Isometric with proper support Marking, Exhaust / Charge Air Ducting with Pressure drop calculations, Cooling Tower Piping, Compressed Air High Pressure Piping, Chimney Location its design for Self Supported / External Supported including Dynamic Analysis, Preparation of Sheet wise BOM for various Pipe, Pipe Fitting, Instruments with its Specifications etc.

In Past he had worked for M/s. Vijay Tanks and Vessels Ltd., Mumbai for around 2 ½ years.

Has Started “ P-mech “ in November 1988 to provide Design and Detailed engineering services for various Industries namely :

• Oil and Gas Companies
• Petrochemical company
• Refineries
• Power Plants
• Offshore Platforms
• Chemical Industries

Currently P-mech is employing 75 odd Technical staff in their Mumbai office. P-Mech has various well established departments i.e. Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation.

P-mech has done engineering for at-least 100 odd power plants of M/S Wartsila for its Indian and Abroad projects.

Has also done Power plant with Turbo Mach where Steam turbine, Gas turbine were involved. Their Swiss Office gave the basic engineering to p-mech.

P-Mech has been providing Designing and Detail engineering services to various international clients, since 1996, across the globe viz USA, Canada, UK, Swiss, Australia, Finland, Oman, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and many other countries.

He has 19 years of in depth hands on process engineering work experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning assistance from Refinery, Polymer, Petrochemical, Fertilizer (Ammonia Plant), LNG, Offsite and Utilities projects. He has received two times appreciation award from the Clients in terms of performance bonus and appreciation letter for delivering the process engineering work documents within the stipulated time. He is a member of American Institution of Chemical Engineers – Chicago section and Institution of Chemical Engineers – United Kingdom.  Devendra Solanki - B.E. (Electrical) – Sr. Manager Projects & Design

A Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Discipline with I-Distinction Class from Prime Indian Institute with  more than 13 years of experience in Project Management & Electrical Engineering Design in Engineering Procurement & Construction Management. Initial one year worked with the Electrical Testing Department of a major Motor & Generator Manufacturing Company.

He has been in the field of EPCM Consultancy where a team varying of 3-116 members with various qualifications was lead. The role included acquiring of business, manpower planning, project execution, reporting & presentations at various levels. He has working as Senior Manager (Projects & Design) in an Engineering Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) firm in Oil & Gas Sector.

SUBHAS PATEL : Engineer ( Mechanical ) – DETAILING MANAGER

Mechanical Engineer with over 18 years of experience in Structural detailing with specialization in detailing of complicated heavy  Structures.

Debabrata Singha - B.E. ( CIVIL ) - CHIEF  ENGINEER

A Civil and Structural Engineer from Prime Indian Institute with 7 years of Industrial Experience in design and detailing of Petrochemical Plant, Technological Structure, pipe racks, Residential, Commercial, School Building, Oil and Gas, Refinery, Fertiliser, Steel, Power and all related industries.

He has 21 years of sound experience in steel detailing & checking. Vinit Khandelwal - Engineer ( Mechanical ) - CHIEF  ENGINEER

A Mechanical Engineer from Prime Indian Institute with 9 years of Industrial Experience in design and detailing of piping. Extensively worked on Stress analysis using Caesar II software. Max temperature handled is 550 deg C.  Have in depth knowledge of hanger selections, support dwgs etc. for Petrochemical Plant, Gas, Refinery, Fertilizer, Steel, Power and all related industries.

He is specialized in Caesar II software for piping flexibility analysis.

SUKUMAR SHETTY : Engineer ( Piping Layout ) - CHIEF  ENGINEER

Mechanical Engineer with over 18 years experience in designing and detailing in process piping and plant piping. He has worked on refinery and power plant piping. He has developed complete study and then detailed layout for LPG sulphur recovery of Refinery. He has similarly done the piping for complex ethanol plant. Has in-hand experience of many power plant piping from concept to ISO and BOM.

He is a post graduate diploma in piping engineering

RAJESH SHAH – Instrumentation MANAGER

He has 22 years of sound hands on experience in design and detailed engineering & Selection of Instrumentations.  Complete knowledge of SCADA, DIC etc.. Worked for UHDE, Power Gas for many years.
